It travels through rooftops and seas of white wine
As we fell in love for the very first time
And we searched for a place to run and hide

As snow filled our garden with a soft haze
And branches grew tall over my body
As their rhythm with strong winds taught me how to sway
And I thought of you looking my way

You are
My ocean
And I am your waves
Come to take you away
Curving down
To your sorrows
I will wash them away

I don't know how I can explain to you
The reasons why I do the things I do
I just want you to know that I always loved you
And when I leave you it's because I had to
